Why Aihio exists
Finnish small and mid-sized businesses install an AI agent on their site for two reasons: leads they can't qualify in time, and questions a small support team can't answer fast enough. Generic platforms — Chatbase, Voiceflow, Intercom — handle both, until the customer asks the question in Finnish.
With English-led models the problem is not that they fail to understand the words. The problem is that the answer doesn't sound like Finnish: syntax follows English, possessive suffixes drop out, compound words split in unexpected ways during knowledge-base retrieval. The customer gets a technically correct answer that reads as a translation — and picks up the phone instead.
