Understand usage and limits
Check message credits and knowledge usage, and identify which limit has been reached.
Open copy menu
Check usage before extensive testing or customer onboarding. Message credits, knowledge size and the number of agents measure different things.
Open billing for the correct workspace and select Subscription. Review the available usage indicators there. Compare each used amount with its own limit, not with another quota.
What the indicators mean
Section titled “What the indicators mean”| Indicator | What to check |
|---|---|
| Message credits | Usage, remaining amount and renewal shown in the view |
| Knowledge base | Content usage relative to the workspace limit |
| Agents | Created agents and the number allowed by the subscription |
| Team | Member count and included capacity, if member management is available |
Purchased extra credits may appear separately from the period’s allowance. Check them separately. Current prices and limits are on pricing and in the workspace subscription details.
Testing also uses credits
Section titled “Testing also uses credits”The Editor preview uses real AI and message credits. Generating an instruction draft with AI can also use a credit even before you save that draft to the agent. Do not assume that every testing tool is free.
When you reach a limit
Section titled “When you reach a limit”- Identify which limit the error message refers to.
- Check the corresponding indicator and selected workspace.
- If knowledge capacity is full, review duplicated or unnecessary content before adding sources.
- If you need more capacity, review the available change and its cost in billing before confirming.
- Retry the original task only after the new capacity appears or you have corrected the cause.
If usage looks incorrect
Section titled “If usage looks incorrect”Check the workspace, period and whether you are viewing the period allowance or extra credits. If the difference remains unexplained, contact us with the indicator, expected amount and time of observation. Do not send customer conversations or payment information unnecessarily.
